SRS – Stress Reduction Supplement Review
With so many things happening in the world right now, it can be extremely hard not to be under too much stress. Stress is inevitable; almost unavoidable because of this I have decided to give one of the many stress reducing supplements, a try. Here’s my SRS – Stress Reduction Supplement Review
What is SRS?
SRS (The Stress Reduction Supplement) is a natural remedy for stress and anxiety. Offering users the chance to ‘Stress Less’ according to their website.
With hundreds of stress products on the market, is SRS going to offer anything that didn’t already exist? We hope so.
It certainly has some good reviews on the website, with the product supporting sleep and other functions, all in the name of making you feel calmer, more focused, and happier.
SRS Backstory
This product is somehow new to the market. It was created in 2020 by Eddie. A man who struggled with stress due to our every day routines. He created this product for his personal use, but since he had gotten so many amazing results with what he and his team created, they decided to extend their roots and make it available for us. The results for this product may take weeks, and can potentially lead to fully overall wellness after 30 days – preferably taking 3 capsules each day for a more successful improvement journey.
Does SRS Really Work?
The formula used in SRS is solid in terms of it’s scientific evidence. With each ingredient being a well known supplement to aid in the reduction of stress and other health issues.
With adaptogens, cortisol killing herbs and key minerals, SRS should have some good effects for those looking to stress less. So, is SRS one of the best stress relief supplements?
The reviews on the website support its use too, with a few people showcasing good results from using SRS, particularly as a way to manage stress from their professional lives.
So, about that formula…
Stress Reduction Supplement Formula
SRS is natural, which is why we’re writing this review. Offering an alternative to many of the more aggressive pharmaceuticals out there.
But what does each ingredient in SRS do? Let’s take a look.
Organic Ashwagandha – 500mg
Arguable the king of all stress busting herbs. SRS contains 500mg, which is a pretty hefty dose. Without really being unsafe. Phew.
The word Ashwagandha is derived from two Sanskrit words, “ashva” which means “horse” and “gandha” which means “smell”.
The ancient Indians used to take this herb before riding horses to avoid feeling sick. More recently, Ashwagandha has been found to reduce the cortisol levels in the blood, which is a sign of stress. The herb can also help fight anxiety and help people get better sleep at night.
L-Taurine – 500mg
You may link this ingredient to energy drinks, but Taurine actually shows promise when it comes to stress management.
L-Taurine is a naturally occurring amino acid that can be found in many foods and drinks, like animal and plant tissues. It has been used for centuries to help with muscle soreness and cramping, as well as various other health issues.
There is still a lot of research being conducted on L-Taurine as far as its benefits for the human body. But there are already some very promising results. Studies show that L-Taurine can help reduce anxiety and stress levels, reduce cortisol levels in the bloodstream, and even boost athletic performance. The 500mg of Taurine in SRS is a good dosage and aligns with many of the scientific studies that have been conducted.
SerinAID (phosphatidylserine) – 100mg
SerinAID is a brand name of phosphatidylserine. (Much easier to say too).
Phosphatidylserine is a fat found in cell membranes. It is also used to make the tissues of the brain and nervous system.
It can be used for stress relief, anxiety, and depression.
Phosphatidylserine is used in medical research for autism and Alzheimer’s disease. Although, autism is not a disease, as many people would like you to believe. It may help increase the effectiveness of drugs for these conditions. Studies show that phosphatidylserine can reverse memory loss and improve mood in people with mild cognitive impairment. SRS uses 100mg of this ingredient, which helps support brain health and function!
L-Tyrosine
SRS’s second amino acid, that in our view, balances well with the rest of the formula. It works in a similar way to l-theanine, which is known for being in tea and helping to take the edge off caffeine.
L-Tyrosine is a water soluble amino acid that is not essential to the human body, but can be synthesized from other sources. It is also a precursor to the neurotransmitters dopamine and norepinephrine.
L-Tyrosine can help with stress relief by increasing dopamine and norepinephrine in the body, which can improve mood and reduce stress symptoms. L-Tyrosine does not have any side effects and is safe for use by most people, but remember to always have a consultation with your doctor.
Chamomile Extract
We’ve all heard of chamomile. But most people drink it. It’s interesting SRS the stress reduction supplement contains it among their formula as we’d say it’s more in line with sleep. But here’s how it can work for stress relief.
Chamomile flower is a herb that has been used for centuries to help with sleep problems. Chamomile is often used in herbal teas or can be taken in pill form.
Chamomile flower has the ability to alleviate stress by calming our minds and releasing tension throughout our muscles. The natural oil within the chamomile flower helps inhibit the adrenaline response that leads to anxiety. This herb also contains anti-inflammatory properties that are soothing for inflammation of respiratory passages that leads to coughing, sneezing, or other cold symptoms.
Magnesium
SRS contains high doses of two key minerals for your body. Magnesium, and zinc.
Magnesium is an important mineral for human health; it has been found to be particularly effective for stress relief.
The biggest benefit of magnesium supplements is that they increase the level of this important mineral in the body. This means that it can take longer for people with little magnesium in their diet to notice any symptoms of low magnesium levels. Additionally, people who have had a kidney transplant or have kidney disease are often told by their doctor to take magnesium supplements because the body will not be able to process it efficiently on its own anymore.
Zinc
Zinc is an essential mineral that our body requires for maintaining immune function, growth, and healing. It can be found in shellfish, poultry, red meat, legumes, whole grains and beans. Although Zinc can be found in food sources it is unclear how much our body absorbs from the food we eat. This is why taking supplements like Zinc tablets to get the recommended daily amount of 10 milligrams has become popular among people who want to improve their health or manage stress.
How Do You Use SRS?
SRS is a simple supplement to use, 3 easy swallow capsules per day. Or less if you want a smaller dose for any reason.
You can either spread the capsules or take them all in one go. It’s up to you really, we just had ours alongside our breakfast on a morning.
One drawback is that 3 capsules can seem like a lot, so if this is the case it might be easier for you to spread them out.
Where Can You Buy SRS?
Currently SRS is only available directly from their website www.stressreductionsupplement.com. This is a little annoying if you’re wanting to buy from Amazon or even in store. However shipping times are generally under 3 days, and shipping is actually included in the cost.
SRS – Stress Reduction Supplement Review Conclusion
We love SRS. It’s a great looking product and as you’ve read the formula is great. It doesn’t contain anything risky or harmful and is focused on naturally helping you relieve stress.
It’s effects can impact not just stress, but also feelings of calm and sleep too. Ensuring you feel better day to day, with results occurring in as little as 2-3 days depending on your nutrition.
The dose may put some people off however, with a big 3 capsule serving and it also may annoy some people it’s only available online. But overall this has to be on of our best stress relief supplements!
