    I do agree that there are so very many teas and tisanes that help with stress. My own favorites include the mints, lavender, chamomile, ginger, verbena, and lemongrass, as well as Hawaiian mamaki tea.

    My own habit is to fill a pitcher with water and throw in one teabag for each cup of water in the pitcher plus one more and stick the thing in the refrigerator to steep.  That way I always have a whole pitcher of tea to tap all through the day.  It has made inroads into my coffee habit, which is probably a good thing.

    I keep a number of different kinds of teas in my pantry and throw a variety of teabags into the pitcher so the tastes are always different.  I’ll throw in cinnamon sticks, aniseed or star anise, and sometimes whole cloves and crushed pepper corns as well.  I have some cloth teabags that I can fill with assorted loose teas and I’ve been meaning to try to use them more.

    I don’t add ice to the cold tea since it would probably dilute it.

    Do you do cold-brewing?

    1. I love mint tea as well! I don’t like cold-brewing. It feels like I’m taking away from the actual tea and I just don’t like the taste. But it also depends on the tea flavor.
